IYA concludes a one-day mentor-ship workshop on conflict management and peace-building

The International Youth for Africa (IYA) has concluded a one-day mentorship workshop on conflict management and peacebuilding in the Ugandan capital Kampala. 25 young Africans from South Sudan, Burundi and Uganda attended the workshop. The main reason why we introduced the mentorship program at IYA is to bring young people together in order to train on conflict management, peacebuilding, leadership development skills, understanding human rights, women empowerment, psychosocial support and youth and development and available opportunities both interior and exterior in East African countries. The mentorship programs will runs for two years (2018-2019) in order to engage people in developmental programs. Our target from 14-35 years in South Sudan. This include; South Sudanese youth, Ugandans, Kenyans, Burundians, Rwandese and Tanzanians (East African Community). IYA appeal to donors to


support the South Sudanese refugees in Uganda and Kenya.
